Winter is quickly melting away here in coastal Alaska. The grass is finally showing through at the soccer field in town, where 2 weeks ago it seemed to still have a few feet of snow covering it. The mountains are revealing their rocky tops amidst the lingering snow. We’ve had lots of blue skies this month…and I think April might be our first month with NO snow since last August!
It’s been a long, white winter though and when choosing colors for our Spring yarns I found myself craving colors both bold and bright. I can’t say these are representative of our local environs…but they fit my dream of Spring.
So here you have it: 5 new colorways in limited quantities
Tulip: a deep bright tonal red
Bluebird: sweet, vivid tonal blue
Bloom: a highly varigated explosion of color, incorporating tulip, springshine & bouganvilla
Nice on it’s own or perfect for coordinating with the other semi-solids
Springshine: a warm golden yellow and orange tonal colorway
Bouganvilla: deep magenta semi-solid
These colors are dyed on 3 yarn bases:
Knight: a worsted weight 100% superwash merino
Bligh: 3ply merino weight fingering
Hinchinbrook: a bulky weight Peruvian Highland Wool
Available beginning this Saturday, April 28th, exclusively at The Net Loft
